How many Firefighter's work at once?
Updated On: Aug 06, 2004 (09:25:00) Print or Save this ArticlePRINT/SAVE Email Article to FriendEMAIL

Currently There are 9 Firefighters per shift, 4 shifts (A,B,C&D) equals 36 Shift personnel and 4 staff personnel doing desk work M-F.

The Shift personnel are split up with 6 at Central (Captain, Lieutenant,& 4 Firefighters) and 3 at the West Keene Fire Station (Lieutenant, & 2 Firefighters) .  So 9 Fiirefighters are on duty at a time.  If more personnel are needed we need to wait for off-duty Firefighters to come in from home.

Welcome home FF Buddy Olson. Thank you for your service to our country.
