“Battle of the Badges” was created mainly as a way to raise money for the Keene High School Athletics Department. It was also designed to build comradery amongst the City of Keene’s Police Department and Fire Department. For the last two years, the Keene Police took on the Keene Fire Department in a friendly game of Basketball. The event was a huge success as it has raised over $1200 dollars annually for the athletics department at Keene High School. The Fire Department are the current champions and don't plan on giving up that title any time soon.
